Art: Untitled, by B-Art Poem: Stuck by Urban Browns

Manicured lawns and white picket fences don’t fix a troubled home, it just keeps the world from seeing what’s going on…
on the inside.

And its just masking the lives of people undone and lives slowly unraveling now two no longer one.
Broken arms mock embraces here…
and plastic flowers are picked from the dirt that tears have watered.
It’s to late nothing can be done to change the hurtful things said.

nolovelostnolovefound
there is always no love.

Although it hurts it is the hard truth.
Something common to see…
My fake smile has cracked it reveals my frown.
The imitation laughter no longer reverberates in empty hallways masking my hearts weeping sounds.

Because dilapidated fences just mended with bent nails and painted white don’t really hide the splinters poking through sharp and brown.

They are mere warning signs that things are different in the background.
and rub your hands across a picket fence painted white long enough the minstrel paint rubs off and you’ll loosen a plank and get splinters under skin and learn quickly that things aren’t always as pretty as they seem.

i thougth about a post

pulled the strings so hard, u would thnk i am a retard

the way i got passionate to change things

though when i sit i cn bearly come to name things, i even feared to say things.

Its lyk an article awaited its artist to finally find the way in.

Then to express all the things that i have kept in,

it ws kinda hard i bottle my emotions,

even turned medival searching for potions so at least i can cut them into… Continue

Poem: Prone to Error

Posted by Joseph J. Breunig 3rd on August 10, 2011 at 3:46am 0 Comments

Challenges in Life are meant to be,

assisting us to reach maturity.

For our reaction to circumstance

marks personal growth beyond luck and chance.

Proven is our ability to learn,

expanding mental constraints as hearts burn.

Walking in upright, godly perfection

complements Jehovah's desire for Man's compassion.

The lasting goal is surely not religious fervor,

but moving past our fallen state of being...

Prone to…

Poem: Forgiveness

Posted by Joseph J. Breunig 3rd on August 10, 2011 at 3:30am 0 Comments

We are wronged by people daily,

but to not forgive is unconscionable.

The Universal King had died for all;

for in eternity's view, we're pardonable.

He has given absolute amnesty

to everyone who has accepted Him.

Make no mistake about this unmerited immunity -

Grace's favor (over the course of Life) wears thin.

Death is inevitable, and our spirits

this mortal frame will leave;

so take advantage of God's…
